Company Description Arrow Health provides comprehensive addiction treatment services across Australia, offering both inpatient and outpatient programs tailored to support long-term recovery. Its services include individual and group therapies, counselling, psycho-education, family support, aftercare, and recovery coaching. Programs are designed and delivered by allied health and medical professionals with extensive experience in the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) sector, alongside staff who bring valuable lived experience of overcoming addiction. The organization was founded by the Lawrence family, inspired by their personal journey supporting a family member with substance use challenges, and is committed to the belief that addiction is treatable and recovery is achievable. An experienced admissions team is available seven days a week to support clients and families seeking help. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Woodend. The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality clinical care to clients participating in addiction treatment programs, including comprehensive assessments, ongoing monitoring, medication administration, and coordination of care with doctors, counsellors, and other allied health professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting clients through detox and recovery phases, documenting care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards, and participating in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings. The role also involves educating clients and families about treatment plans, relapse prevention, and health promotion,

while maintaining a safe, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive environment. The Registered Nurse will contribute to continuous improvement of clinical practices and uphold Arrow Health’s values of respect, empathy, and evidence-based care. Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, maintain professional boundaries, and respond calmly and safely in crisis or high-risk situations.
• Commitment to person-centered care, trauma-informed practice, and non-judgmental support for individuals in recovery.
• Basic computer literacy for electronic health records and clinical documentation; willingness to learn organizational systems and protocols.
• Relevant post-graduate training in AOD, mental health, or counselling is an advantage; prior experience in inpatient or community-based addiction services is highly regarded.
