An opportunity to support our Armstrong Creek team Are you a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator looking for an opportunity to support another bestchance service while earning additional income? We are inviting Certificate III and Diploma-qualified Educators from our Western Region Kindergarten Team to express their interest in picking up incentivised casual shifts at Armstrong Creek East Children’s Centre. At bestchance Child Family Care, we are committed to supporting children, families and communities through high-quality early childhood education and care. This initiative provides an opportunity for our existing educators to share their knowledge, strengthen collaboration across our services and support continuity of care for children. What is the incentive? To recognise the additional travel required, eligible educators who pick up casual shifts at Armstrong Creek East Children’s Centre will receive an additional two hours of pay per eligible shift to cover travel time, in accordance with the applicable incentive arrangements. This is an prospect to earn additional income,



gain experience in another bestchance service and support our colleagues when additional staffing assistance is needed. About Armstrong Creek East Children’s Centre Armstrong Creek East Children’s Centre provides long day care and funded kindergarten programs delivered by a dedicated team of early childhood professionals. The service offers expansive natural outdoor play spaces, a dedicated kindergarten art room and nutritious meals prepared by onsite cooks. The team is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive and engaging environment where children can learn, grow and thrive. Position details

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Roster: Shifts available between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm

Qualifications:
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an accepted equivalent qualification
• Incentive: Additional two hours of pay per eligible casual shift to support travel time
• Work availability: Shifts covering planned and unplanned leave, subject to service requirements. What we are looking for We Are Seeking Educators Who
• Have experience working in an early childhood education or kindergarten environment.




• Are passionate about children's safety, wellbeing, learning and development.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Apply a strengths-based, inclusive and family-centred approach.
• Understand their responsibilities under the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework and child safety requirements.
• Can adapt to a different service environment and work collaboratively with a new team.
• Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism and a proactive approach to supporting colleagues. Essential requirements Required Interested educators must hold the relevant qualification and maintain the required current checks, certificates and training applicable to their role, including:
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR training relevant to an education and care setting.
• Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
• Food safety training, including Do Food Safely where required.
• Completed PROTECT training and GECCKO training, as applicable. All educators must meet bestchance's child safety, safeguarding, compliance and employment requirements before commencing shifts.
