Tired of being just another number on site? At Unite Resourcing, our fitters aren't a headcount. We're growing quick and we're looking for experienced HD Fitters and Mechanical Fitters with crusher experience who take pride in their work and want to be recognised for it.

The roles and the pay *Based on 14 x 12-hour shifts on a 2:1 roster. Rate depends on skills and experience.

HD Fitters
The role

- Servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy mining fleet, including haul trucks, loaders, dozers and excavators [confirm equipment, e.g. CAT, Komatsu]




- Diagnosing faults on engines, hydraulics, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems
- Field service and breakdown work to keep the fleet running

What you'll need

- Trade certificate (Cert III Heavy Commercial Vehicle or Mobile Plant Technology, or equivalent)
- Mining or heavy fleet experience
- Current driver's licence (HR or MC a bonus)

Mechanical Fitters (Crusher)
The role

- Mechanical maintenance and repairs on crushing and screening plant, including jaw and cone crushers, screens, feeders and conveyors
- Changing out liners, screen decks, belts, idlers and chute wear parts
- Planned maintenance, breakdowns and shutdown work

What you'll need

- Trade certificate (Cert III Engineering – Mechanical Trade, or equivalent)
- Crushing and screening experience
- Working at heights and confined space tickets highly regarded

For both roles

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
- A strong safety mindset and a good work ethic
- Australian working rights
