West Coast Shopfitting is a well-established Western Australian shopfitting company based in Wangara. We are seeking an experienced Senior Shopfitting Draftsman with strong Microvellum skills to join our team on a full-time basis.
If you have a solid background in shopfitting and joinery drafting, understand the practical requirements of manufacturing and installation, and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality drawings, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
Working closely with our project management and production teams, you will play a key role in translating project concepts and architectural plans into detailed, production-ready shopfitting drawings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed shopfitting and joinery drawings using Microvellum.
- Preparing manufacturing drawings, cutting lists and relevant production documentation.
- Interpreting architectural plans, specifications and project requirements.
- Ensuring drawings are accurate, practical and suitable for manufacture and installation.
- Liaising with project managers, factory personnel and other team members.
- Managing drafting priorities and meeting project deadlines.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in shopfitting and joinery drafting.
- Strong proficiency in Microvellum software.
- A sound understanding of cabinetry, joinery construction and manufacturing processes.
- The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team.
