Cater Care is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join the team at Uniting Pacifica, an 80-bed aged care residence in beautiful Nambucca, NSW.

With a brand-new kitchen scheduled for completion in December, this is your opportunity to bring your experience, creativity and leadership to a kitchen environment focused on quality food and resident wellbeing.

About the role

Working Monday to Friday, you'll oversee day-to-day kitchen operations while ensuring residents receive high-quality meals tailored to their individual dietary and texture-modified requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Preparing meals through efficient bulk cooking.
- Delivering texture-modified meals in line with residents' dietary requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Providing excellent customer service to residents and stakeholders.
- Working independently to manage kitchen priorities and maintain consistent food quality.
- Supporting a positive,



respectful and welcoming dining experience.

What you'll bring

- Previous experience in aged care catering is essential.
- Relevant trade qualification in commercial cookery.
- Current Food Safety Supervisor qualification.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and dietary requirements.
- Experience with bulk cooking and texture-modified diets.
- Excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of kitchen operations.
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check and meet flu vaccination requirements.
