About the role

Assistant Studio Manager for a casual position of approximately 20-25 hours per week (a mix of morning and afternoon shifts). You'll be part of our close-knit team, with weekly catch-ups to plan, share ideas and keep everyone on track.

Most of your time in the studio will be spent running things on your own, so you'll be independent and confident taking the lead. You'll be the friendly face members see when they walk through the door, the energy that keeps the community connected, and the driving force behind an experience that keeps people coming back. You'll assist with the studio's success across member experience, sales, community engagement, and day-to-day operations, building a vibrant community and making a genuine impact on members' lives every day.

Key responsibilities

- Drive new memberships through leads, trials, introductory offers, and proactive follow-up

- Build strong sales pipelines and convert enquiries into long-term members

- Deliver a standout onboarding experience and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for all members

- Build genuine relationships that keep members engaged for the long run

- Assist with organising challenges and events that keep members connected and motivated

- Track key business metrics including memberships, conversions, retention, and member engagement, and use the insights to identify opportunities for growth

- Keep the studio clean and running at its best

- Capture content within the studio for social media and marketing material

- Monitor systems and technology so everything runs smoothly for members





- Attend to daily administrative tasks and member communications

About you

- Warm, approachable, and committed to creating an exceptional experience for every member

- Driven to achieve goals and celebrate the success of each member

- Self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and quick to take initiative

- Comfortable in front of the camera for social media posts (or happy to have fun learning!), with an understanding of Instagram, Reels and CapCut

- Qualified with a current CPR and First Aid certificate (essential)

Nice to have

Not essential, but experience in any of these is a bonus:

- Sales or lead conversion, ideally in a membership-based business

- Fitness, wellness, or health industry background

- Marketing and community engagement
