LO-GO Appointments is a national boutique recruitment agency, which has been providing recruitment and HR solutions to Western Australian Councils for over 30 years. We specialise in the provision of high-quality staff covering the full range of Council activities from executive management to technical, office and on-site field positions. We work exclusively within the Local Government industry with our WA office being based in the heart of Subiaco.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant who enjoys a challenge and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

In this role, you’ll manage temporary and permanent placements, build strong relationships with clients, source high-quality candidates and guide both parties through the recruitment process with the utmost professionalism.

We’re looking for a proactive, organised individual with excellent time-management skills and the confidence to communicate with people at all levels. Most importantly, you’ll be passionate about matching the right candidates with the right roles.

The REQUIREMENTS of the role will include:

- Building strong relationships with Candidates and Clients whilst identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate new business
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process
- Reviewing and shortlisting CVs
- Conducting phone screens and candidate interviews
- Completing reference checks
- Writing and posting of advertisements for job vacancies
- Preparing offer letters and employment contracts
- Accurately recording information in our internal database, JobAdder




- Growing and maintaining the candidate database

Ideally, we are looking for someone with the following at a minimum, but we would be happy to offer further on the job training for the right applicant – it's all about the fit!!

- Exceptional customer service skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and think proactively
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with strong relationship-building skills
- Robust organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities while working towards targets
- Experience with JobAdder or similar recruitment software
- Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process
- A positive attitude with a strong drive to succeed and excellent attention to detail
