We’re looking for an experienced ANZ Demand Planner – Commercial to play a key role in driving and continuously improving demand forecast & planning across Australia and New Zealand.

This is more than just a forecasting role. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and Supply Chain, turning data, customer insights and market intelligence into demand plans that support customer service, inventory optimisation and business growth.

As a key participant in the S&OP; process, you’ll lead the monthly Demand Review, challenge assumptions and help the business identify risks and opportunities while ensuring alignment between commercial plans and operational capabilities.

What You'll Do

Demand Planning & Forecasting

- Develop and maintain short, medium and long-term demand forecasts across assigned product categories and customer segments.

- Analyse historical sales trends, promotional activity, customer demand patterns and market intelligence to generate accurate forecasts.

- Identify forecast risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Measure and report forecast accuracy, forecast bias and other key planning metrics.

S&OP; Leadership

- Lead the monthly Demand Review process as part of the ANZ S&OP; cycle.

- Facilitate alignment between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Supply Planning teams.

- Present demand assumptions, risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders during S&OP; meetings.





- Drive accountability for forecast ownership across commercial teams.

Commercial Partnership

- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to understand customer initiatives, new product launches and market developments.

- Support customer business reviews through demand insights and analytics.

- Participate in strategic planning activities where required.

- Provide planning recommendations that support revenue growth objectives.

Analytics & Reporting

- Develop demand planning dashboards and KPI reporting.

- Analyse forecast variances and implement corrective actions.

- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, seasonality and growth opportunities.

- Prepare monthly forecast performance reports for business leadership.

Systems & Process Improvement

- Drive continuous improvement of forecasting methodologies, planning tools and business processes.

- Ensure data integrity within SAP and related planning systems.

- Support implementation of supply chain and demand planning initiatives.

- Champion best practices in demand planning and S&OP; disciplines.

What We're Looking for in You

Education

- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Statistics or related discipline.

Experience

- 5+ years' experience in Demand Planning,



Supply Chain Planning or Commercial Planning.

- Strong experience operating within an S&OP; or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) environment.

- Experience partnering with Sales, Portfolio and Finance stakeholders.

- Experience managing complex forecasting processes across multiple product categories and customer segments.

Technical Skills

- Advanced SAP or equivalent demand planning system experience.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.

- Advanced Power BI skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

Leadership & Behavioural Competencies

- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

- Ability to challenge constructively and drive accountability.

- Solid commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers.

- Ability to simplify complex data and communicate insights clearly.
