We are a local Cleaning Company in the Hastings area.
These positions would suit a retired or semi retired person or someone looking for a regular second income. You will be paid award wages, penalty rates for evenings, superannuation and long service.
POSITION A
What your day will look like:
This is a cleaning role based in the Hastings Area. You will commence shifts at 6 am or earlier if you prefer, working Mondays and Fridays including public holidays that fall on these days. The cleaning facilities are public bathroom amenities. A work vehicle is provided for your shift, and you will travel throughout the Hastings Area with paid travel time. You will work autonomously with little supervision, using cleaning equipment including a battery blower vac on the odd playgrounds and you must be able to use a water hose when necessary. Work must be completed by the end of each shift. There is also a potentially more days of the week available.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties on public amenities in the Hastings Area
- Use a battery blower vac on playgrounds with soft fall adjacent to amenities
- Climb steps and carry leaf blowers and cleaning supplies
- Walk across differing surfaces including grass, pavements and gravel
- Complete all work by the end of each shift
- Take photo proof of before and after cleaning tasks using a work phone provided for the shift
- Report to a female supervisor
About you
- Physically fit to perform cleaning duties including climbing steps, carrying equipment and walking across differing surfaces
- Able to use a water hose
- Able to operate a battery blower vac
- Must have no phobias towards cleaning toilets or the occasional eviction of spiders, frogs or other indoor critters etc.
- Must have your own reliable transport to get to and from the primary worksite where the work vehicle is garaged.
- You must be able to produce a driving history report for at least 12 months and copy of driving license.
- Strong commitment to work practices
- Able to work autonomously with little supervision

POSITION B
Office Cleaning for a Thursday and Friday night starting at 5 pm until 8 pm
POSITION C
Office Cleaning for Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Friday starting after 6 pm until 9.30 pm and Saturday afternoon after 2 pm. for two hours. You would have to be available for at least two of these shifts per week. You can pick your nights which will be your permanent nights.
Positions B and C are for office cleaning. Your roll will be to clean kitchens, bathrooms, emptying of waste paper bins, replacing paper supplies, cleaning glass entrance doors, removal of cob webs, mopping floors and a large area of vacuuming with a back pack. These shifts you will be potentially on your own in a secured building.
The following must haves for Position B & C
Reliable own car (not sharing with someone) and current License
Must have no phobias towards cleaning toilets or the occasional eviction of spiders or indoor critters etc.
If you have cleaning experience that's excellent if you don't that's ok as we do on the job training.
