Use your occupational hygiene expertise to lead workplace assessments and projects, advise clients and contribute to the ongoing growth of our hygiene team.

Your appointment as Occupational Hygienist or Senior / Principal Hygienist will reflect your experience, qualifications and technical capability.

Based at our Belmont or Mandurah office, you will combine hands-on field work, technical consulting and project leadership across metropolitan, regional and remote WA.

What you will do

As a Occupational Hygienist

We have short term FIFO site-based project’s waiting for you, and opportunities to expand and diversify your hygiene knowledge as you move through a range of contaminants, clients, project and industries in an ongoing full-time role.

As a Senior / Principal Hygienist

- Lead occupational hygiene investigations, exposure assessments and monitoring programs across a range of workplace hazards

- Develop Health Management Plans, interpret results and recommend practical workplace exposure controls and solutions

- Prepare and review technical reports and recommendations

- Manage project delivery and build trusted client relationships

- Mentor, develop and support hygienists and technical staff

- Contribute to proposals and improvements in technical quality

- Actively contribute to the growth of the department





The complexity of projects and level of technical oversight and leadership will reflect your appointment as either Senior or Principal Occupational Hygienist

What you will bring

As a Occupational Hygienist

- Minimum 2 years industry experience and a minimum of MAQT, a great work ethic and willingness to learn

As a Senior / Principal Hygienist:

- A qualification in Occupational Hygiene, Science or a related discipline

- Substantial occupational hygiene consulting and project delivery experience

- Strong technical reporting, data interpretation and report review skills

- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and occupational hygiene practices

- Confidence advising clients and supporting the development of technical staff

- AIOH Membership, MAQT / Hygiene Sampler Registration and Noise Officer credentials

- An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence, Australian working rights and willingness to travel

Highly regarded for Principal position: Progress towards becoming a Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH), MAQO, additional noise qualifications and Oil and Gas experience.
