About the role

You will be the first point of contact for our customers and the person who keeps their orders moving. You will handle enquiries by phone, email and at the counter, give practical product advice, and take each order from quote through to invoice. You will also work closely with our warehouse and tinting team, so this is a hands-on role with plenty of variety through the day.

What you will do

- Answer enquiries from trade, retail and project customers by phone, email and over the counter, and turn them into confirmed orders

- Process orders end to end in our Inventory Management System: quotes, sales orders, pick slips, delivery or collection, and same day invoicing

- Keep customer records accurate, including pricing tiers, contact details and trade account agreements

- Raise purchase orders to suppliers,



manage backorders and lead times, and keep customers updated with ETAs

- Work with the warehouse daily so urgent orders go out first, and brief the tinting team on special colour or batch requirements

- File order paperwork, including purchase orders, pick slips and signed delivery notes

- Advise on protective, yacht and marine coating systems, application methods, surface coverage, tint bases and anti-fouling

Essential

✓ Proven sales or customer service experience

✓ Strong communication & relationship-building skills

✓ Confident, self-motivated, and customer-focused

✓ High attention to detail & accurate record keeping

✓ Ability to work in fast paced workplace and positively contribute to a small dynamic team

✓ Organized, proactive and able to keep several orders moving at once

Highly Regarded

★ Knowledge of coatings, paint or marine products is a bonus, but a genuine willingness to learn the range matters more

★ Familiarity with Unleashed and Xero or similar WMS/ERP

★ Leadership potential and growth mindset
