About us
His Medical Clinic is a modern Australian telehealth service delivering high quality, evidence based care across men's health. Our services span sexual health, hormone health, hair loss, skin and dermatology, weight and metabolic health, and general practice. We combine convenient access with thorough assessment, ongoing care and strong clinical governance, helping patients access support for concerns that are often overlooked or difficult to discuss. Improving access is central to our approach, particularly for people in rural and remote areas and underserved communities. Our integrated model brings together doctors, nursing, psychology, allied health and patient care teams to support meaningful, long term outcomes. As we grow, the upcoming launch of our sister women's clinic will create opportunities to work across women's health as well.
About the role
We are seeking a GP to join our fully remote clinical team, providing personalised care to patients across Australia. We would particularly welcome an interest in hormone health, metabolic health and evidence based preventative and longevity medicine. However, we welcome doctors with interests across our broader clinical services and are open to discussing how your experience and areas of interest could fit within the team. Your initial work will focus on men's health through His Medical Clinic, with opportunities to expand into women's health as our sister clinic launches. You will work within an established clinical environment with robust governance controls, clinical protocols, pathology pathways and experienced clinical, nursing, patient care and technology support. Specialist advice,
including support from endocrinologists, is available when needed. The role combines independent clinical decision making with collaborative support and the opportunity to follow patients over time.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth consultations with patients across Australia.
- Undertake thorough assessments and make independent, evidence based clinical decisions.
- Request and interpret pathology, develop individualised treatment plans and monitor patients over time.
- Provide care across men's sexual health, hormone health, hair loss, skin concerns, weight and metabolic health, and general practice.
- Assess and manage testosterone deficiency, including testosterone replacement therapy where clinically indicated.
- Support preventative health and healthy ageing through appropriate assessment, risk reduction and attention to sleep, lifestyle and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the wider care team and seek specialist input or arrange further assessment when required.
- Maintain clear clinical records and contribute to clinical quality and continuous improvement.
- Have the opportunity to provide women's health care as our sister clinic launches, within your interests and clinical expertise.
About you
- MBBS, MD or an equivalent recognised medical qualification.
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration and appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
- Strong clinical judgement and a thoughtful, patient centred approach.
- Confidence interpreting pathology, developing treatment plans and providing ongoing care.
- Clear communication skills, including the ability to discuss sensitive health concerns with empathy.
- A commitment to evidence based practice, ethical prescribing and strong clinical governance.
- Confidence working remotely within a technology enabled clinical environment.
- Sound judgement about the suitability and limitations of telehealth, including when patients require in person assessment or specialist care.
- Experience in hormone medicine, men's or women's health, sexual health, medical weight management, dermatology, preventative health or longevity medicine is highly valued, but is not essential across every area.
Benefits
- Fully remote work within an established Australian telehealth service.
- Strong clinical governance, clear protocols and experienced clinical support.
- Access to specialist advice, including endocrinology, when needed.
- Dedicated nursing, patient care and technology teams to support your work.
- The chance to develop your clinical interests across a broad and growing service.
- Ongoing patient relationships and a focus on meaningful health outcomes.
- Opportunities across both men's and women's health as the organisation expands.
Please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role, clinical area(s) of interest and expected hourly rate.
