Flexible Telehealth Consulting | Established Clinical and Administrative Support | Work From Anywhere in Australia
About Us
His Medical Clinic is a modern Australian telehealth service delivering high quality, evidence based care across sexual health, hormone health, hair loss, skin and dermatology, weight and metabolic health, and general practice.
We combine convenient access with thorough assessment, ongoing care and robust clinical governance. Improving access is central to our approach, particularly for patients in rural and remote areas and underserved communities.
Our integrated model brings together doctors, nursing, psychology, allied health and patient care teams to support meaningful, long term outcomes. The upcoming launch of our sister women’s clinic will extend this approach across men’s and women’s health.
About The Role
We are seeking a Consultant Endocrinologist to provide specialist advice, complex case review and clinical guidance to our GPs across men’s and women’s health.
This fully remote, as-needed opportunity offers a flexible way to contribute your expertise alongside your existing practice. You will be a trusted specialist resource for our clinical team, supporting diagnostic clarification, interpretation of investigations, treatment decisions and ongoing management.
The role spans the endocrine conditions relevant to our services, including reproductive and hormone health, thyroid disorders, obesity and metabolic health, diabetes, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and bone and mineral health. We welcome broad endocrinology experience alongside individual subspecialty interests.
Your primary focus will be supporting our GPs, with direct patient telehealth consultations and shared care where clinically appropriate. There is also scope to contribute to clinical protocols, case discussions and GP education, helping strengthen the service as it grows.
You will work within an established clinical environment with strong governance controls, experienced nursing and patient care teams, and respect for your independent specialist judgement.
Availability, response arrangements and remuneration will be mutually agreed, with clear pathways for patients requiring local assessment or care beyond telehealth.
Clinical Scope
Within your expertise and where suitable for telehealth, you may support assessment and management of:
- Male reproductive and hormone health: Testosterone deficiency, hypogonadism, appropriate use and monitoring of testosterone replacement therapy, and related endocrine concerns.
- Women’s reproductive and hormone health: PCOS, menstrual irregularities, perimenopause, menopause and other endocrine contributors to reproductive health concerns.
- Weight and metabolic health: Obesity, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome and medical weight management.
- Diabetes: Specialist advice and shared care for diabetes, with the scope of more complex management agreed according to your expertise and available clinical support.
- Thyroid conditions: Hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, autoimmune thyroid disease and interpretation of relevant investigations.
- Adrenal and pituitary conditions: Investigation, specialist advice and ongoing management of suitable patients.
- Bone and mineral health: Osteoporosis, calcium disorders and related endocrine conditions.
The scope will be developed collaboratively, with clear pathways for patients who require physical examination, procedures, urgent assessment or services beyond the clinic’s capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist advice to GPs on endocrine presentations, investigations and management.
- Review clinical histories, pathology, imaging reports and treatment responses.
- Support diagnostic clarification, appropriate prescribing and ongoing monitoring.
- Conduct patient telehealth consultations where specialist assessment is required and clinically appropriate.
- Develop clear recommendations and shared care plans with treating GPs.
- Identify when further investigation, local assessment or referral is needed.
- Contribute specialist input to clinical protocols, referral criteria and governance processes.
- Support GP learning through case discussion and practical clinical guidance.
- Maintain clear documentation of advice, clinical decisions and follow-up responsibilities.
About You
You will bring:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration, including specialist registration in endocrinology.
- FRACP with specialist training in endocrinology, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance covering the proposed work.
- Experience across adult endocrinology, with an interest in men’s and women’s hormone and metabolic health.
- Strong clinical judgement and a commitment to evidence based, ethical practice.
- A collaborative approach to supporting GPs and multidisciplinary teams.
- Confidence providing specialist advice and consultations through telehealth.
- Clear communication and a practical approach to shared care.
Interests in reproductive endocrinology, testosterone deficiency, menopause, PCOS, diabetes, obesity or metabolic medicine would be particularly welcome.
What We Offer
- Fully remote work with flexible, mutually agreed availability.
- An as-needed engagement that can complement your existing practice.
- The opportunity to shape specialist endocrine support across a growing men’s and women’s health service.
- Strong clinical governance and respect for independent clinical judgement.
- Experienced GP, nursing, patient care and technology support.
- Meaningful opportunities to improve access to specialist expertise for underserved patients.
