We’re looking for an experienced Risk & Compliance Advisor to join InvoCare’s Legal, Risk & Compliance function and help strengthen risk ownership, controls and compliance across our operations and projects. This is a hands-on partnering role for someone who can move comfortably between frameworks and frontline business realities. You’ll work with stakeholders to embed InvoCare’s Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks, facilitate Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), identify control gaps and provide practical, commercially minded advice as part of a true second-line function. What you’ll be doing
• Partner with the business to strengthen risk ownership, controls and compliance oversight.
• Facilitate RCSAs, risk reviews and compliance assessments across the organisation.
• Identify control gaps and support programs of work that improve the control environment.
• Monitor risk and compliance actions and prepare monthly and Risk Committee reporting.
• Assess incidents, potential breaches and complaints to identify trends and evaluate control effectiveness.
• Become a subject matter expert in Protecht, supporting the ongoing development of the platform and its modules.
• Support the development and improvement of risk and compliance policies, processes and tools.
• Provide practical risk and compliance advice across business projects.
• Deliver training and guidance that builds risk capability and strengthens compliance culture.
• Support mandatory compliance training across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. What you’ll bring
• 7+ years’ experience in Risk & Compliance, with a solid understanding of risk frameworks, controls, governance and regulatory obligations.
• Solid experience in policy management, including simplifying policies and procedures for business audiences.
• Experience managing GRC tools and processes, ideally with Protecht.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• The ability to translate risk requirements into practical, commercial solutions that support business objectives.
• Confidence facilitating training and helping stakeholders understand risk management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Tertiary qualifications are desirable. Why this role? This is an opportunity to work across multiple areas of InvoCare and contribute to the continued development of an organisation-wide risk and compliance environment. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to improve controls, influence business practices and make risk management more practical and embedded in everyday decision-making. At InvoCare, our values are Collaboration, Accountability, Responsiveness, Excellence and Safety (CARES), and they underpin how we work and support the communities we serve. Ready to bring a practical, commercial approach to risk and compliance? We’d love to hear from you. Apply now and help us strengthen risk ownership and compliance across InvoCare.
