About the role
McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Project Surveying Manager to join our team supporting an upcoming major civil infrastructure project in metropolitan Adelaide. Joining as the project builds towards delivery, you’ll lead the surveying function and ensure accurate, timely and effective survey services across the project. Working closely with construction and engineering teams, you’ll coordinate survey activities, manage contract Surveyors and project models, and ensure survey requirements support the safe and efficient delivery of the works.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate surveying activities and contract Surveyors across the project.
• Manage survey control, models, benchmarks and project data.
• Provide accurate field and as-built survey information to construction and engineering teams.
• Coordinate survey priorities, earthworks, volumes and quantity take-offs.
• Manage survey costs, equipment and calibration.
• Lead and support the survey team to meet project requirements and deadlines. About you You’ll be an experienced construction Surveyor with the technical capability and leadership skills to manage the surveying function on a major project. You’ll bring:
• Minimum 6 years’ construction surveying experience and a relevant tertiary qualification.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team.
• Strong surveying software,



project control and as-built knowledge.
• Excellent planning, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
