Skills:
Solution Architect/Designer who is comfortable working with AIA/ACDs, can operate independently with ISG and project teams and can navigate the required governance forums.
• Lead end-to-end solution design for International Payments initiatives and transformation programs.
• Design API-based and event-driven integrations across banking and payment ecosystems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient solution designs.
• Create and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), interface specifications, and data flow models.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Development Teams, and Vendor partners.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate solution options and provide recommendations balancing business needs and technical constraints.
• Support delivery teams throughout the development, testing, and implementation lifecycle.
• Drive solution governance, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
· Deep knowledge of:



o International Payments o Cross-Border Payments o SWIFT Payments o SWIFT MT/MX Messaging o ISO 20022 API & Integration Architecture
• Robust hands-on experience designing:
• REST APIs
• Microservices Architectures
• Event-Driven Architectures
• API Gateway Solutions
· Proven experience in: o Integration Solution Design o Data Modelling and Mapping o API Design Standards o Security and Non-Functional Requirements o System and Application Integration Nice to Have

• FGPP Payment Processing Flows
• Payment Routing Configuration
• Settlement and Reconciliation
• SWIFT Integration
• Interface and Channel Integration
• Product Configuration and Customisation
· Experience in Tier-1 banking environments.
· Exposure to payment modernisation programs.
· Experience supporting migration from legacy payment platforms.
· Knowledge of payment regulations and compliance requirements.
· Experience with FIS Global Payments Plus (FGPP) is highly desirable.
