Majuba Bistro is looking for a cook to join our small kitchen team in Albany, Western Australia. Salary: from $79,425+ super, depending on experienceLocation: Albany, Western AustraliaPosition: Full-time The role: You will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of high-quality dishes across both the cold and hot kitchen sections Prepare and present cold kitchen items ensuring excellent quality and presentation.Prepare and cook hot kitchen dishes, including pasta, fish, and other menu items in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards.Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in a timely manner during service periods.Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety.Monitor food quality and portion control.Assist with menu development and the creation of new dishes when required.Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.



Skills and Experience:At least 3 years’ experience working in both cold and hot kitchen environments.Knowledge of food preparation techniques, desserts, seafood, and pasta dishes.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
