Store Captain – Gamefront
Retail Duty Manager | Trading Cards, Games & Collectables

Gamefront is looking for a reliable, organised person to help run our trading card, toy and collectables store.

You’ll work directly with the owner and take responsibility for the store when they’re away. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys helping customers, keeping stock organised and making sure the day runs smoothly.

What you’ll do

- Open and close the store, including security checks and end-of-day procedures.
- Serve customers, process payments and reconcile the till.
- Run the store independently when the owner is away.
- Receive deliveries, organise stock and carry out stocktakes.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders within agreed budgets.
- Keep shelves, displays and the store clean and well presented.
- Set up and pack down for events, helping create a welcoming experience for customers.

What we’re looking for

- Retail experience,



ideally with keyholder, supervisor or duty manager responsibilities.
- Someone trustworthy, punctual and comfortable working independently.
- Friendly customer service and confidence handling payments.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
- An interest in Pokémon, trading cards, games or collectables is a bonus.
- Experience with Shopify POS or inventory systems is helpful.

What we offer

- Part-time or full-time hours, agreed with the right applicant.
- $31–$35 per hour base, depending on experience, plus super and applicable penalty rates.
- A varied role working directly with the owner.

Pay: $31.00 – $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
