We’re looking for a qualified baker to join an established Bakers Delight bakery in Melbourne’s inner south-east.

This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys the craft of baking, takes pride in consistent quality and works well as part of a production team. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day bake, help keep the bakery running smoothly and support less experienced team members when needed.

What you’ll be doing

* Producing and baking quality bread and bakery products to a consistent standard

* Working efficiently in a busy production workplace and keeping the bake on schedule

* Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and workplace safety

* Supporting apprentices and bakery assistants with day-to-day coaching and guidance

* Helping with stock control, waste management and production costs

* Pitching in with the wider bakery team when required

What we’re looking for

* Certificate III in Baking or an equivalent recognised baking qualification

* Experience working in a commercial bakery(Baker's Delight experience favourable)





* Someone reliable and comfortable with early starts

* Good pace, organisation and attention to detail

* A team-first attitude and clear communication

* Pride in producing a quality product every day
