Supporting the Production and Projects teams with the accurate and cost positive pricing for joinery projects as well as preparing all details required regarding plans, design and finishes for the shop drawing and production team.
As the Project Estimator, you will be responsible for the reviewing of the issued plans and schedules received by Builders, Architects, and private clients to cost out the project ready for submitting.
Key Resppnsibilities
Review plans, details and schedules for joinery projects
Provide costing for estimates, tenders and client quotes for review and approval
Provide confirmed and finalised quotes for repricing and updated detailing as issued
Review and communicate adjustments/ changes
Handover to Project Management and Design team in readiness for commencement
About you
Essential
· Greater than 2 years’ experience in the building or factory industry preferably dealing with joinery and cabinet making, including cutting,
assembly and installation of joinery
- Experience in quoting of projects for joinery or building materials
· Ability to take direction and communicate these to multiple team members
· Detail focus with customer requirements and quality control checking
· Quick and independent learner
· Ability to multitask
· Efficiently co-ordinate project plans and drawings
· High level of organisation skills
· High level of communication skills including verbal and written
· High level of attention to detail
Desirable
· Experience with workflow tool Monday.com
· Experience in full circle of process of joinery from Design to Install
· Greater than 2 years Draft person experience using Cabinet Vision or a similar program
Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
