Venue Manager – Premium Hospitality & Private Members Lounge

About Us

SKYBAR MEL PTY LTD, trading as Lounge de Versailles, is a premium hospitality venue in Melbourne, offering an exclusive environment for members and guests, with a focus on premium cigars, fine beverages and personalised hospitality services.

We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain exceptional service standards and support the continued development of our specialised hospitality business.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the lounge, ensuring efficient service delivery and a premium guest experience.
- Develop and implement operational procedures, service standards and customer experience initiatives.
- Manage membership services, guest relations and personalised hospitality arrangements.
- Recruit, train, supervise and coordinate hospitality staff, including performance management and rostering.
- Monitor operational budgets, expenditure, stock levels and supplier arrangements to support profitability.
- Oversee the management of premium cigar and beverage inventories, including purchasing, storage and stock control.
- Coordinate promotional activities,



member engagement initiatives and private hospitality functions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant liquor licensing, workplace health and safety, and other regulatory requirements. Review business performance, customer feedback and operational reports, recommending improvements to management.

Skills and Qualifications

- A relevant Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Management or a related discipline, or at least three years of relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing hospitality operations, preferably within a premium lounge, private members venue or comparable hospitality workplace.
- Strong leadership, staff supervision and operational management skills.
- Sound understanding of budgeting, inventory management, supplier coordination and service quality control.
- Excellent communication, organisational and customer relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of premium cigars, wines, spirits and specialised hospitality services would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of applicable liquor licensing requirements and responsible service practices.t

Pay: $79,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
