The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Senior Shift Supervisor to join our team at Costco Marsden Park on a casual basis.

The Senior Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing additional support to the Event Manager daily, as well as acting as the Event Manager in all absences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitating the coordination, organisation & execution of events
- Purchasing products for events
- Overseeing Sales Advisors & Shift Supervisors’ performance
- Preparing schedules Performing schedule/reporting actions in the Event System
- Performing recruiting-related activities, such as screening applications & conducting interviews,



as needed & directed by the Event Manager
- Managing day to day employee relations as needed & directed by the Event Manager
- The Senior Shift Supervisor will also be responsible for participating in event demonstrations

Availability Requirements to be considered for this role, you must:

- Be available to work across 7 days, including weekends
- Be available for opening and/or closing shifts
- Be available to work every Sunday/Monday to cover absences of the Event Manager
- Have full Australian work rights (no visa restrictions)

What We’re Looking For

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional customer service and client relationship skills
- Clear and confident communication skills (both written and oral)
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality
- Experience managing a casual workforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or scheduling systems
