About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Phone Repair Technician & Store Manager to join our team at Mi-Territory, located in the Queen Victoria Building (QVB), Sydney CBD.

This is a hands-on role combining technical repairs, customer service, retail sales and day-to-day store supervision.

The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on repair experience and technical skills, while also being confident in dealing with customers, supporting team members and assisting with the daily operation of a busy retail repair store.

Key Responsibilities

Device Repairs & Technical Support

* Diagnose and repair a wide range of smartphones, including iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and other Android devices

* Perform screen, battery, charging port, camera and other hardware repairs

* Diagnose and repair iPads and tablets, including Samsung Galaxy Tab, Lenovo and other brands

* Diagnose and repair MacBooks and Windows laptops

* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues accurately and efficiently

* Conduct thorough testing and quality checks before and after repairs

* Ensure repairs are completed to a high standard and within reasonable turnaround times

Store Supervision & Operations

* Assist with the day-to-day operation and supervision of the store

* Coordinate repair jobs and manage repair workflow and priorities

* Supervise, support and guide team members during daily operations





* Help allocate tasks and ensure jobs are completed efficiently

* Monitor repair quality and maintain excellent customer service standards

* Assist with stock control, inventory organisation and product displays

* Maintain a clean, organised and professional store environment

* Assist with opening and closing procedures when required

* Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and work towards appropriate solutions

* Support management with general store operations and continuous improvement

* Take initiative and proactively identify tasks, issues and opportunities for improvement without constant supervision

Customer Service & Retail Sales

* Provide skilled, friendly and efficient customer service

* Clearly explain device issues, repair options, pricing and estimated completion times

* Provide accurate repair quotes and recommendations

* Assist customers with mobile phone accessories and other retail products

* Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services

* Help drive store sales while maintaining a genuine customer-focused approach

* Build positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat business

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:





* Minimum 2 years of hands-on mobile phone/device repair experience

* Strong experience repairing iPhones and Android smartphones

* Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Experience repairing iPads and other tablets is highly regarded

* Experience repairing MacBooks and Windows laptops is highly regarded

* Previous retail, supervisory or store management experience is highly regarded

* Fluent spoken English is essential

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Strong teamwork and leadership skills

* Confidence dealing with customers and resolving customer concerns

* A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to take initiative

* Strong organisational and time-management skills

* Reliable, punctual and responsible

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy retail environment

* Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are highly regarded
