Personal Care Workers – Casual Aged Care Opportunities/n /n About Blu Healthcare /n /n Blu Healthcare is a leading recruitment agency servicing the Australian healthcare sector. We partner with a diverse range of providers across aged care, disability services, community care, mental health, hospitals and government health services. /n /n We are currently seeking qualified and dedicated Personal Care Workers (PCWs) for casual opportunities within residential aged care facilities in Brisbane, particularly in Hillcrest, Acacia Ridge and surrounding suburbs. /n Position Summary/n /n As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly residents with their daily care needs while promoting their dignity, safety, independence and overall wellbeing in a professional residential care workplace. /n

Key Responsibilities
/n /n /n
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living. /n
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing and promptly report any changes to the nursing team. /n
- Assist with implementing and reviewing individual resident care plans. /n
- Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents. /n
- Respect residents’ confidentiality, dignity, privacy and individual preferences at all times. /n
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. /n
- Follow workplace policies, procedures and infection prevention and control practices.



/n /n Essential Requirements/n /n To be considered for these opportunities, applicants must have: /n /n /n
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Aged Care) or an equivalent qualification (mandatory) /n
- Previous experience in a residential aged care setting (mandatory). /n
- Full Australian working rights. /n
- A current Queensland C Class driver's licence. /n
- A current National Police Check. /n
- Up-to-date influenza vaccination. /n
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications. /n
- Yellow Card /n /n Available Shifts/n /n

We offer
flexible casual shifts to suit your availability: /n /n /n
- Morning: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM /n
- Afternoon/Evening: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM /n
- Night: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM /n /n
