Start Date: ASAP (Flexible)
Contract Term: Long term, ideally for several years.
Pay: $45 $50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Days Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 32 hours per week.

- Tuesday: 10:00am 3:00pm
- Wednesday: 10:00am 3:00pm
- Thursday: 10:00am 3:00pm
- Friday: 10:00am 10:00pm

About the Family

A family based in Prahran,VIC is seeking an experienced and qualified nanny to care for their one-month-old baby girl.
This is an chance for a nanny seeking a long-term position with consistent weekly hours, a competitive hourly rate and a family who is happy to guarantee agreed minimum hours when care is not required.
The role will combine newborn care with cooking and household support, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing the baby s needs with general household responsibilities.
The Mum will be home most of the time but may occasionally need to leave for appointments.

Role Responsibilities

- Providing warm, attentive and nurturing care for the baby.
- Supporting feeding, sleeping and daily routines.
- Creating a safe, calm and nurturing environment appropriate for the baby s age.
- Supporting early development through gentle interaction, talking, reading and age-appropriate activities.
- Preparing meals and assisting with cooking as required.




- Completing general household duties as agreed with the family.
- Keeping the home clean, tidy and organised.
- Communicating with the parents about the baby s routines, needs and progress.
- Following the family s preferred routines and approach to newborn care.

The Ideal Nanny

The family is seeking an experienced, reliable and nurturing nanny who is confident caring for a newborn and understands the importance of responsive, attentive care during the early months.
Relevant childcare qualifications are required, along with strong references and demonstrated experience caring for babies.
The ideal candidate will also be organised, proactive and comfortable providing household support alongside childcare.

Requirements

- 3+ years previous childcare or nannying experience with infants
- Childcare qualification preferred
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR
- Non Smoker
- Full Drivers Licence
- Comfortable with dogs - The family have 2 dachshunds
- Comfortable with Mum at home
