Ready Steady Go Kids is Australia’s leading multi-sport and physical literacy program for children aged 1.5 to 6 years. Operating since 2004, our physio-designed program introduces children to the fundamentals of 10 sports through fun, structured and non-competitive classes.

Our programs support children’s gross and fine motor development, coordination, confidence, social skills and enjoyment of physical activity. We are passionate about helping children develop healthy habits and a lifelong love of sport and movement.

About the role

As a Preschool Sports Instructor, you will deliver engaging, age-appropriate multi-sport classes during school terms. You will create a secure, supportive and high-energy environment where children can participate, learn new skills and have fun.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver structured multi-sport classes for children aged 1.5 to 6 years.
- Set up, pack down and maintain class equipment.
- Encourage participation, confidence and skill development for children of all abilities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and venue staff.
- Follow Ready Steady Go Kids program guidelines and safety procedures.
- Represent the business professionally, reliably and enthusiastically.

About you

This role is well suited to students or graduates in Early Childhood Education, Primary Teaching, Sport and Exercise Science, Physical Education, coaching or related fields.





This is also suited to parents returning to the workforce or someone wanting to work school hours.

Essential requirements

- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- An active, sports-minded, outgoing and energetic personality.
- Strong communication skills and confident spoken English.
- Professionalism, reliability and initiative.
- A current NSW Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Current driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
- A strong interest in children’s development and the benefits of exercise.
- Availability for casual work during school terms, including weekday and/or weekend classes.

Desirable

- Experience working with children.
- Childcare, teaching, coaching or fitness qualifications.
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
