We are an electrical switchboard manufacturer and are looking for electrical fitters/fitter mechanics with switchboard building experience.
We offer flexible work hours and the opportunity to work OVERTIME.
We have numerous positions available due to company growth.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control and switchgear
- Assembly of Switchboard framework
- Fabrication of busbars and components
- Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Installing, repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures
- Following National and State Electrical Standards
- Testing, result recording and adherence to testing procedures and production standards
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
- Give training and instruction to apprentices and TA assigned to your job.
- Adherence to directions from management & leading hands
- Other tasks as directed
SKILL & QUALIFICATION REQUIRMENTS:
Qualifications:
- Hold Current Electrical Work License
- Hold Current general safety induction certificate
- Remain certified in LVR/CPR
Skills:
- Read and interpret electrical switchboard general arrangements and single line drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organized and able to meet deadlines
PERFORMANCE GOALS:
- Complete tasks on time
- Deal with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times
- Ensure Products adhere to quality criteria
