Den Devine is the heart of live music on the Gold Coast — a vibrant, intimate venue known for excellent food, great atmosphere, and showcasing original Australian music six nights a week.
Our small but busy kitchen is looking for a reliable, skilled Chef to join the team. You’ll work Tuesday to Saturday 1 day per week with our kitchen hand, with your remaining shifts alongside our Head Chef. Perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves being part of a creative venue.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and cook menu items to a consistent, high standard
- Run the kitchen independently on selected days (with a kitchen hand)
- Support and collaborate with our Head Chef on all other shifts
- Maintain stock levels, food safety standards, and kitchen cleanliness
- Contribute to smooth service in a dynamic, music-filled atmosphere
- Work as part of a close,
passionate team in a small open kitchen
Who We’re Looking For
- Experienced cook with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Able to handle a fast, high-volume service in a small kitchen
- Reliable, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards (mandatory)
- A passion for food, hospitality, and good vibes
