About the role

Full-time permanent position working primarily across Melbourne construction sites on a variety of commercial construction projects. The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of carpentry and construction duties.

Key responsibilities

- Formwork and structural carpentry
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
- Setting out and measuring works
- Construction of formwork for slabs, beams, columns and stairs
- General carpentry and construction duties
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Working with other trades and site personnel to achieve project requirements
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
- Following company procedures, WHS requirements and site instructions

About you

- Relevant carpentry qualification and/or substantial industry experience
- Previous experience in commercial construction and/or formwork
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
