About the Role

We’re looking for passionate and experienced Bartenders / Bar Supervisors to join our established team at Barmilano Maroubra. With six years of delivering quality food, drinks, and hospitality, we’re proud of what we’ve built and are looking for people who share our passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

We’re a busy, high-energy restaurant, particularly during weekend services, where efficiency, teamwork, and great hospitality are essential. If you thrive under pressure, love making great drinks, and enjoy connecting with guests, we’d love to meet you.

You will:

- Deliver confident, polished beverage service with energy, personality, and attention to detail
- Prepare and serve popular international cocktails, classic drinks, and our signature house cocktails to a consistently high standard
- Look after guests seated at the bar, providing attentive service, taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience
- Develop a robust understanding of our food menu, including ingredients and key dishes, to confidently guide guests through their choices
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of cocktails and spirits, with basic knowledge of wine and beer also appreciated
- Manage the bar station efficiently during high-volume services, maintaining speed, consistency, cleanliness, and organisation
- Support stock control, restocking, and the smooth day-to-day running of bar operations
- For supervisory candidates, lead by example, support the team during busy services, and help maintain high service standards
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and compliance with relevant safety and licensing requirements

What We're Looking For

- Experience in a busy bar, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment
- Confidence preparing popular international cocktails, classic drinks, and house signatures
- A genuine passion for hospitality, food, beverages, and creating memorable guest experiences
- The ability to learn and confidently communicate our food menu, making recommendations to guests
- Basic knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits; more extensive knowledge is a bonus
- The ability to work quickly, accurately, and calmly under pressure, especially during busy weekend services
- Strong communication skills, a proactive, team-first attitude, and a natural ability to connect with guests
- Previous supervisory experience is highly regarded for candidates applying at supervisor level
- A valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency

Pay: $33.50 – $38.00 per hour
