General Labourers – $36 p/h + super + travel + LeavePlus Weekly pay Overtime and penalty rates where applicable Immediate starts available Short and long term projects Ongoing work available for reliable workers Multiple locations across metropolitan and suburban Melbourne Opportunities to work with a range of established builders and contractors The Role: General site labouring, cleaning and site preparation Moving and handling construction materials Unloading and assisting with site deliveries Assisting trades and site supervisors Using hand and power tools Demolition and strip out work Manual excavation and digging Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite You will need: A valid White Card Current drivers licence and reliable transport to get to work sites Minimum 6 months construction or onsite labouring experience Experience using basic hand and power tools Valuable physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual work A strong work ethic and reliable attitude Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team A strong commitment to workplace safety Full PPE including steel cap boots, hi vis clothing, work pants/ shorts and hard hat and eye protection. Advantageous but not essential: Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) – regular work available on school and education projects Construction tickets such as Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Traffic Control or Spotter Previous commercial construction, Landscaping, Fitout or demolition experience Be careful
