Cafe Alfons on Chevron Island has been a standout of the GC cafe scene for 15 years. We continue to evolve, and our team now needs a seriously experienced and committed shift supervisor.
We aren't looking for working holiday people, uni students or anyone looking for a 'right now' job. You need to have previous cafe experience and you need to be a proper hospo person who can help us lead our team.
This job is for someone prepared to become an important part of our family run business, and give their best to make our customers happy. Along with destination customers and tourists, we are a real locals joint, so this position is going to suit someone who loves getting to know their customers.
Barista experience is highly preferred, but not a deal breaker. However,
we need someone who can work across a seven day roster and be flexible enough to work with the needs of the cafe. Staff supervision experience is a must along with an understanding of rostering.
The person we want is someone who is not just looking for a good team, positive vibes and plenty of hours, but someone who is also looking to give a little more and get a little more out of their job.
