Support worker criteria are outlined below

NDIS A MUST

- Ideally a mature and experienced support worker, male, or female.
- Client has a diagnosed mental health condition, including schizophrenia.
- Trevor may at times use recreational drugs and consume alcohol, which can affect his mood, behaviour, and willingness to engage socially.
- The support worker must have access to a reliable vehicle for occasions when client is willing to attend community outings. Participation in outings is dependent on how Client is feeling on the day and can be unpredictable.
- Must have excellent communication skills, be patient, empathetic, and a positive listener.
- Trevor resides in public housing in a small one-bedroom unit. The property includes a compact kitchenette, limited cooking facilities, a single bed, and minimal furnishings. The bathroom is small,



and laundry facilities are in a communal area downstairs.
- The home has very limited furniture and storage.
- Duties include general household cleaning, grocery shopping, laundry assistance, and community access/outings as appropriate.
- Must be honest, reliable, and committed to providing quality support.
- Schedule: 3 days per week, 3 hours per shift.
- Service dates: Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
- Service hours: 10:00am to 1:00pm.
- Days and times may be subject to change based on clients needs and circumstances.
