REVOLVE is looking for an experienced, practical tradesperson to join our Brisbane-based construction team.

Our work is varied and primarily includes:

- Timber and Colorbond fencing
- Gates
- Carpentry
- Structural landscaping
- Retaining walls
- Decks, pergolas and external timber work
- Sheds, carports and garages
- Site preparation and associated construction work

We're not necessarily looking for someone who has spent their whole career as a traditional carpenter.

You might currently be a carpenter, fencer, fencing installer, structural landscaper, landscape construction tradesperson or an experienced all-round construction tradesperson.

What matters to us is that you're capable on the tools, can think for yourself and can take responsibility for getting good work completed efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on the project, your work may include:

- Fencing and gate installation
- Timber construction and general carpentry
- Structural landscaping and retaining walls
- Decks, pergolas and other external structures
- Sheds, carports and garages
- Site preparation and set-out
- Reading plans, taking measurements and determining levels
- Working with timber, steel, concrete and other construction materials
- Working independently or alongside another tradesperson
- Working with and directing a labourer or less-experienced team member
- Identifying and solving normal construction and installation problems
- Maintaining a clean, safe and productive site
- Communicating professionally with customers when working at occupied residential properties

- Comfortable using common carpentry and construction tools
- Conscious of quality and the finished result
- Able to communicate clearly when something isn't right




- Respectful and professional around customers and their properties

Relevant Experience

Experience in any combination of the following would be highly regarded:

- Timber fencing
- Colorbond fencing
- Gates
- Carpentry
- Structural landscaping
- Retaining walls
- Decks and pergolas
- External staircases or timber structures
- Sheds, carports or garages
- Site preparation and excavation

You don't need to have done everything on this list.

We're more interested in someone with strong practical ability, relevant experience and good judgement than somebody with the perfect résumé.

The Opportunity

REVOLVE is a growing Brisbane construction business doing varied residential construction work.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on and wants the responsibility and independence that comes with being trusted to get work done properly.

For someone who demonstrates greater capability and wants greater responsibility over time, there may also be opportunities to take on more responsibility within the business.

Pay

$45–$65 per hour, depending on experience and capability.

The exact arrangement can be discussed with suitable applicants.
