The Opportunity
A well-established commercial design & construct business is looking for a Commercial Interior Designer or Architect to join their team in Brisbane CBD, working across office and workplace fitout projects.
This is a client-facing role suited to someone who enjoys presenting design concepts, building client relationships and combining creative design with technical documentation and project delivery.
You’ll work closely with clients, builders and consultants, leading design presentations and taking projects from concept through to documentation and delivery.

The Role
You’ll play an active role in the design process, presenting concepts to clients, developing design solutions and coordinating documentation to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing creative and commercially considered workplace design concepts
- Presenting design concepts and ideas directly to clients
- Leading client meetings and communicating design intent
- Producing construction documentation using Revit
- Preparing 3D models, renders and presentations
- Preparing FFE schedules
- Liaising with clients, builders and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensuring designs are practical, buildable and aligned with client requirements
- Managing project deadlines and taking ownership of project outcomes
About You
- Experience in commercial interior design or architecture, ideally across office and workplace fitouts
- Strong Revit and construction documentation skills
- Confident presenting design concepts and ideas to clients
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong visual presentation and design storytelling abilities
- Comfortable leading client meetings and discussing design decisions
- A sound understanding of construction and buildability
- Commercially minded, organised and detail-oriented
- Able to manage projects and work collaboratively with clients and project teams
