Local Family owned Mechanical & Performance shop is seeking a qualified mechanic to join our team in Currajong, QLD. As a Qualified Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a variety of motor vehicles, working in a up-to-date and well-equipped workshop.
Key responsibilities
Performing routine maintenance and inspections on motor vehicles
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
Carrying out specialist work such as engine rebuilds, brake system overhauls and suspension modifications
Test driving vehicles to ensure quality of work
Maintaining detailed job records and providing customer service
Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies
About you
Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified mechanic in a similar role
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to identify and resolve complex faults
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers
Ability to work hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with overtime on offer (NO WEEKENDS) Happy to negotiate days if full availablility is not for you.
