preferably within an aged care or healthcare environment- Experience preparing meals for large groups- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards- Valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, where required- Valid Police Check- 100 Points of ID- Valid Work Rights- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtainWhat will you be doing? Cook / Chef- Preparing and cooking nutritious and high-quality meals for residents- Following menus, recipes and dietary requirements- Preparing meals that cater to special dietary needs, allergies and texture-modified diets- Ensuring meals are prepared and served on time- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness- Following infection control and workplace health and safety procedures- Managing food preparation areas and kitchen equipment- Assisting with stock rotation and monitoring food supplies- Minimising food waste and maintaining appropriate portion sizes- Working collaboratively with kitchen and facility staff- Creating a positive dining experience for residents#J-18808-Ljbffr
