NYour new company N Join a large, complex organisation delivering the next generation of asset performance capability. This organisation is investing in practical digital and AI solutions that improve asset health, maintenance workflows and operational decision-making. This is an immediate-start, 8-month contract based in Brisbane, with hybrid working and the potential for extension.Your current role NDesign, build and support responsive applications, APIs, services and reusable components. NDevelop AI-enabled features such as intelligent search, summarisation, recommendations and natural-language interfaces. NConnect enterprise platforms and trusted data through secure integrations and data pipelines. NUse SQL, Python and modern web or server-side technologies to deliver reliable solutions. NApply retrieval, orchestration, model evaluation and responsible AI controls where appropriate. NWork with stakeholders to refine requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery priorities. NEmbed automated testing,monitoring, logging, secure coding and CI/CD practices. NSupport prototyping, demonstrations, deployment, defect resolution and transition into BAU support. NWhat you'll need to succeed NnCommercial experience delivering production applications across front-end, back-end, APIs, data and integrations.



NPractical experience building generative AI or machine learning solutions, including prompts, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation and monitoring. NStrong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with modern web technologies and at least one server-side language or framework. NKnowledge of cloud services, APIs, identity, enterprise integration patterns and multi-source data. NExperience with source control, automated testing, observability, CI/CD and secure deployment. NAn understanding of privacy, model risk, human oversight and responsible AI in an enterprise setting. NStrong stakeholder engagement and business analysis skills, with the ability to turn business needs into testable requirements. NExposure to asset management, maintenance, reliability, industrial environments or platforms such as Azure AI, Microsoft Power Platform, SAP or comparable enterprise technologies will be highly regarded.
