Staff 360 is seeking a capable and reliable working couple to join a family-run dryland cropping operation approximately 50km north of Wee Waa, NSW, for the upcoming grain harvest.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on couple looking for seasonal harvest work in a friendly, small-team setting.
The property crops approximately 2,500 hectares of wheat, barley, faba beans and chickpeas, with a harvest crew of around 6–8 people.
THE POSITIONS

1. Chaser Bin Operator
Working alongside the harvesting team, responsibilities will include:

- Operating a John Deere 8310 tractor with a 30-tonne Coolamon chaser bin
- Supporting efficient harvesting and grain handling operations
- Completing daily machinery pre-start checks and basic servicing
- Assisting with machinery movements and general harvest logistics
- Maintaining safe operating practices around harvesting machinery
- Assisting with general farm duties as required

2. Harvest Cook / Ground Crew / General Farmhand
This is a varied, hands-on position combining meal preparation with practical support for the harvest team.
Responsibilities will include:

- Planning, preparing and cooking daily meals for approximately 6–8 harvest staff
- Managing kitchen supplies, meal preparation and general kitchen cleanliness
- Grocery shopping and occasional trips to town for farm supplies and parts
- Assisting the harvest ground crew with paddock moves and machinery relocations
- Driving pilot vehicles and supporting machinery movements between paddocks
- Assisting with general farmhand duties, yard work and basic property maintenance
- Helping maintain a clean and organised homestead and shared facilities




- Providing additional practical support wherever required during harvest

The successful applicant will be comfortable moving between kitchen duties and outdoor farm work, taking an active role in keeping the harvest operation running smoothly.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Previous harvest and chaser bin experience for the machinery operator
- Practical cooking experience and confidence preparing meals for a small working crew
- Willingness to assist with general farm work and harvest ground crew duties
- Valid driver's licences
- Reliable, adaptable and hardworking attitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work within a small team
- Common sense, initiative and a willingness to lend a hand wherever needed

Experienced farming couples, travelling couples and grey nomads are encouraged to apply.
PAY & CONDITIONS

- $35 per hour negotiable, with meals provided
- Basic on-farm accommodation available in the original homestead
- Couples travelling with their own caravan are particularly welcome
- Caravan parking available with power and water connections
- Approximately 4–6 weeks of seasonal harvest work
- Immediate start, with harvest running through November depending on seasonal conditions
