Details :Latham Primary School is looking for a high performing and dynamic Community Liaison Officer to join our student support team. This role focuses on building and nurturing robust partnerships with families, local organisations and community services. The successful applicant will help deliver integrated supports for children and families, contributing to Latham Primary School's identity as a welcoming and inclusive community hub that meets the diverse needs of its population in line with Directorate policies and procedures.
Eligibility/Other Requirements :
- Minimum of four years full‑time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to a recognised qualification in social work, community development, health, education or a related field would be highly desirable.
- Experience working with families as part of a multidisciplinary team would be highly desirable.
- Experience working with diverse multicultural communities, including an understanding of culturally responsive and inclusive practices would be highly desirable.
Notes :This position is part-time at 29:24 hours per week (0.8 FTE) and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.
