Our local family fruit and vegetable shop is looking for a friendly and reliable Part time Shop Assistant . The role is mainly focused on serving customers at the register and maintaining product quality .
You will be working in a family environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Operating the POS register and processing customer payments
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service :
- Checking expiry dates and product freshness :
- Removing or reporting products that are not up to standard
- Keeping the counter and shop area clean and organised
Requirements :
- Previous customer service or cashier experience is a must.
- Friendly attitude and good communication skills
- Attention to detail when checking product quality
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
