The Location
Set in beautifully landscaped acreage alongside the Currumbin Creek, Bolton Clarke’s Galleon Gardens provides high-quality aged and dementia care in a friendly, secure and comfortable residential environment.
The Role
You will be part of a team, dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.
Permanent weekday shifts now available - 0600-1300, 0700-1500
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
- Vacuuming,
mopping and polishing floors
- Dusting, polishing and general tidying
- Cleaning bathroom facilities
- Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
- Assist with the provision of a protected, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
- Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

To be successful, you will have :
- Ideally your background will be in cleaning or housekeeping within aged care or hospitality.
- Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team
- Availability to work shifts across various days/times
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
