They operate a large-scale production facility with a strong focus on safety, reliability and continuous improvement. Due to increased workload, they are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team on either day or afternoon shift. This contract is expected to run for at least 4 to 6 months, with the potential for extension. Who you will be working with You'll be joining an experienced maintenance team at a busy manufacturing facility responsible for keeping critical production equipment operating safely and efficiently. The site is fast-paced, well-resourced and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of automated equipment while contributing to the reliability of a major industrial operation. 46 hour weeks - Minimum 4 to 6 month contract with potential for extension - Work with modern manufacturing equipment and automation - Join a supportive and experienced maintenance team - Immediate start available Duties and responsibilities - Perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the site - Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime - Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems - Respond to production breakdowns in a timely manner - Inspect and test plant and equipment to ensure safe operation - Support continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance function We are looking for someone with - Current Electrical Licence - Previous experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment - Strong PLC fault finding experience - Experience responding to breakdowns in a production environment - Strong commitment to workplace safety - Q Fever vaccination preferred, however successful applicants can be vaccinated prior to commencing If you know someone looking for a job, refer them to us and we'll give you $500 if we find them a current role!*
