About the Role
El Camino Southbank is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to join our leadership team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a high-volume team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will drive operational excellence, support staff development, and focus on maximizing revenue within our fast-paced, high-energy setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a large team during high-pressure peak service periods.
- Manage complex floor rotations and administrative tasks with high precision.
- Drive revenue growth through suggestive selling and operational efficiency.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure every guest receives an authentic Tex-Mex experience.
- Support the Venue Manager in daily operations, compliance, and staff training.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-volume hospitality setting.
- A high-energy leader who thrives in a loud, fast-paced, and chaotic environment.
- Expert organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage administrative duties.
- Full availability to work a rotating roster including late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- A hands-on approach and the grit required to lead from the front during busy shifts.
- Valid RSA certification and a "can-do" attitude.
