We are seeking a service-oriented Facilities and Maintenance Assistant to join our Sydney campus on a Part-time basis.

As our Facilities and Maintenance Assistant, you will :

- Maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the ground's external areas and gardens.
- Cleaning tasks (e.g. aircon filters, gutters) as required.
- Building and equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
- Prepare and reset rooms for functions and events.
- Work with the Property and Maintenance Manager to plan projects and organise resources.
- This is a part-time role, 15.2 - 30.4 hours per week (0.4 - 0.8 FTE), depending on skills and experience.
- Remuneration: Miscellaneous Award (excl. 12% Super, 17.5% leave loading).

Essential Attributes (please respond to these attributes in your Cover Letter) :

- Current driver licence.
- Experience in building, maintenance or a similar field.




- Possesses an attitude of service and ownership of outcomes.
- Polite and courteous approach to all people.
- Completes work to a high standard while meeting agreed outcomes.
- Proactive team player with initiative and a collaborative approach.
- Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks at any point in time.
- IT literacy.
- Demonstrated Christian character and involvement in a local evangelical church.

Desirable Attributes :

- Trade qualification in horticulture or another field.
- Experience in gardening/horticulture or similar field.
- Boom lift (Skyjack) licence.
- Experience operating zero-turn ride-on mowers.
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage multiple projects.
