Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. GMW provides more than 39,000 services to about 25,000 customers in its operating region.

About the Role : Based in Tatura, Regional Victoria, you’ll join the Finance team located in the Business and Finance Division. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant this role has the following key duties:

- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports for GMW including review and variance analysis.
- Support the preparation of draft Board and Management reports for review.
- Prepare external reporting, including to DTF and DEECA.
- Assist with providing Treasury, cash flow, tax and asset information to meet various reporting needs.
- Provide financial analysis and accounting advice to all stakeholders across the business.

What do you need :

- Mandatory - Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accountancy
- Desired - Relevant experience in related roles
- Desired - Commencing or completing CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA status




- Demonstrated experience in Financial reporting
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across various groups and functions
- Advanced communication skills
- Sense of urgency and accountability to meet all reporting and compliance deadlines
- Adaptable and flexible
- Demonstrated understanding of Accounting standards
