This is an opportunity for a Project Manager who wants broad project variety and real accountability. Our client is an established NSW builder with a strong book of repeat work from councils and private clients across Sydney. Their projects span community and recreational facilities, heritage and structural remediation, and commercial interiors.

You’ll run a handful of projects at once and see each one through from award to final defects. You’ll be the key contact for clients, consultants and authorities, and the person site managers and trades look to for direction.

This builder believes in trusting experienced people to do their job. You’ll be empowered to manage your projects your way, with leadership support always on hand but no one overseeing every step. You’ll also have a capable, close-knit team behind you, with dedicated site, estimating, safety and operations support.

The Role:

- Take full ownership of multiple concurrent projects, typically from a few hundred thousand up to around $5M
- Set the program, lock in procurement and keep the budget tight from day one
- Handle the contract side with confidence,council forms: variations, EOTs, claims and notices
- Be the trusted face of the project for clients, superintendents, consultants and authorities
- Back your site managers and keep subcontractors performing




- Give the business a clear monthly view of cost, program and risk
- Keep safety, quality and environmental standards front and centre on every site
- Close projects out properly, with clean handover documentation and certification
- Share your buildability knowledge at tender stage so jobs are set up to succeed

About You:

- Experienced Project Manager with a builder, or a strong Senior Site Manager ready to step up
- Confident running more than one project at a time
- Solid working knowledge of standard contracts; government or council experience is a bonus
- Exposure to any of remedial, heritage, community, education or fitout work
- Commercially minded, with sound cost control and forecasting
- A clear communicator who builds positive relationships with clients and trades
- Self-driven and comfortable taking ownership of decisions
- Current White Card and full driver’s licence
