Alpha is a resources industry village hospitality and food services provider. We operate villages in remote Western Australia. We are looking for amazing Assistant Village Manager's. This is a full time/permanent position it attracts all the benefits such as annual leave, sick leave, long service leave, etc…

The swing is 2 weeks on and 1 week off and the hours are as per site roster 12-hour day, 11.5 hours paid with an unpaid meal break of no less than 30 minutes and two 20-minute paid rest breaks.

You will be based at the camp village, which includes free Wi-Fi, gym and recreational facilities. All flights, meals and accommodation are provided while working on site.

About the Role

As Village Manager you'll be the senior Alpha representative on site, responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient running of the village. You'll lead the catering, housekeeping, utility and maintenance teams, manage contractors, and be the main point of contact for the client.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all village operations: accommodation, catering, housekeeping, utilities and maintenance

- Drive a strong safety culture, including hazard and incident reporting, inspections, investigations and corrective actions

- Maintain food safety and HACCP compliance across all kitchen and food-handling areas

- Manage contractors on site, including inductions, permits, supervision and performance

- Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives, and report on KPIs and site performance

- Manage rosters, labour costs, budgets, stock and asset control

- Recruit, train, coach and performance-manage site staff

- Make sure audits,



site inspections and statutory and client requirements are met

- Operate a forklift as needed for deliveries, stores and site logistics

Required

- At least 10 years' experience in FIFO village management

- Current forklift licence (LF High Risk Work Licence)

- Proven safety management experience in a mining or resources workplace

- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety compliance

- Experience in contractor management

- Must have approved managers certification.

- Manual Driver's License (Desirable)

- White Card

- Ability to pass a comprehensive Pre-employment Medical and Drug Screen

- National Police Clearance issued within the last 3 months (or willing to obtain one)

- Safe Food Handling Certificate (Desirable)

- RSA Certificate (Desirable)

- First Aid / CPR (Desirable)

What We Offer

- Competitive salary of $128,500 – $140,000 + super
