Allied Express requires highly motivated Forklift Operator, for our express freight operations based at our Archerfield depot.

You will carry out a mixture of duties in your role.

- AM shift available:

- Permanent role - Monday to Friday starting at 05:00am

- Will be required to work off Forklift when requested.

- You will support our inbound line-haul & freight processing operation.

Your Role:

- Processing inbound and outbound freight according to Allied and regulatory standards ensuring it meets cut off deadlines.

- Manual handling of freight in a team environment, use of handheld scanners to sort, unload, and distribute freight.

- Helping out with additional tasks as required, including housekeeping.

- Operating forklifts safely, moving pallets and freight to designated run bays/areas, loading and unloading of trucks when required.

• Be prepared to perform manual handling tasks safely – sorting freight, loading and unloading trucks.
• Have a current forklift license and be proficient in operating one.
