The Gig

An exciting opportunity has become available for a strategic, commercially astute and delivery-focused Project Manager to lead a major infrastructure project in Victoria. Based in Melbourne and working on a 2:1 drive-in drive-out roster, you’ll take ownership across project performance, team leadership and delivery from planning through to completion.

You’ll ply your trade across program, cost, contracts, procurement, risk and stakeholder management, keeping a clear line of sight across both commercial performance and what is happening on site. This is a role for someone who can make sound decisions, keep multiple work fronts aligned and maintain momentum when project priorities shift.

Leadership sits at the heart of the role, guiding engineers, site teams, subcontractors and delivery partners while building robust relationships with clients and key stakeholders. You’ll set clear expectations,



drive accountability and help ensure the project is delivered safely, commercially and to program.

You will be trusted with:

- Leading end-to-end delivery across a major infrastructure project
- Driving program, cost and commercial performance across project delivery
- Managing contracts, procurement and key commercial project decisions
- Coordinating Engineers, site teams, subcontractors and delivery partners
- Building strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders
- Identifying project risks early and driving practical mitigation strategies
- Maintaining clear accountability across safety, quality and project performance
- Reviewing progress, forecasts and delivery priorities against project objectives
- Resolving complex delivery issues and keeping work fronts moving
- Developing team capability through leadership, direction and support

What’s in your toolbox?

- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
- 10+ years Project Management experience across major infrastructure delivery
- Strong commercial capability across budgets, contracts and procurement
- Confidence leading multidisciplinary teams across complex project environments
- Strong understanding of program, risk and broader project controls
- Experience managing clients, subcontractors and key delivery stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of safety, quality and compliance requirements
- Strong judgement and problem-solving across complex project delivery
